Gleaning at Circle Brook Farm – Andover

September 13, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Gleaning is the act of collecting leftover crops from farmers’ fields after they have been commercially harvested or on fields where it is not economically profitable to harvest. It is a practice that is more than 2000 years old.
The gleaned farm-fresh food will be delivered that day to food pantries and soup kitchens in our region to feed those in need.

Bring plenty of water to drink, sunscreen, hat, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, etc. Children are welcome but must be well-supervised by an adult at all times.

Gleanings are weather-dependent; you will receive an email or text if the gleaning is changed or cancelled. If you have any questions, please call or text Christine at 908-619-7232.
